This LEED-certified medical facility was among the largest healthcare construction projects in the U.S. at the time. S1F completed extensive moisture mitigation and concrete leveling before installing resilient finishes tailored for durability, infection control, and patient comfort across over a million square feet.

Project Description
The Fort Bliss Replacement Hospital is a state-of-the-art medical facility located in El Paso, Texas, designed to serve active-duty military personnel, their families, and veterans. Spanning over 1.1 million square feet, the hospital includes a 135-bed inpatient facility, outpatient clinics, an administrative building, clinical investigation and research facilities, and supporting infrastructure.
Built to replace the aging William Beaumont Army Medical Center, this LEED Silver-certified facility emphasizes advanced healthcare delivery, patient comfort, and operational efficiency. The design integrates modern medical technologies with enhanced sustainability and resilience standards to support military readiness and long-term community care.
